Formed in 1978, inspired by bands like Amebix and Killing Joke, featured on Bullshit Detector vol. 2. The band plays a perfect blend of crunchy guitars and synthesizers, creating a gloomy atmosphere and playing what can perhaps be called crust goth? To me, this is one of the best crust bands, I feel like they are overlooked, and I'd wish they had recorded a full length album. A two-disc compilation album called "The Anarchy Years and Primitive Rituals" was released in 2005, which supposedly includes everything ever recorded by the band, but I haven't had a chance to listen to it, so I don't know if there's any "album" material on it. Anyways, this upload contains the two 7" EPs; one from 1983 (released on the Danish label, Boston Tea Party (which also released a compilation tape in 1983, with bands like Enola Gay, Terveet Kädet and the Deformed)) and one from 1985 (on Twilight Records). Also included in this upload are 4 tracks I downloaded from the band's myspace page years ago.
Note: The band evolved/changed their name into Cress when one of the band members left.
hey, would you ever be willing to re-upload this? thanks. love your blog
