Thrasher Skate Rock series vol. 1 - 6.

This upload contains the first six volumes of the Skate Rock series. Now, I'll be honest, none of these files are my own rips. I've gotten these many moons ago from other sites (example) and from different users on soulseek.
I do own all compilation from 1 to 11, and hopefully sometime in the not too distant future I'll get my act together and rip and upload them.

Overall the Skate Rock series is pretty good, a good mix between straight up punk rock acts like, Drunk Injuns, the Faction, McRad, Big Boys, McShred and hardcore/crossover bands like Septic Death, Christ on Parade, Excel, No Mercy, Beƶwulf, Slam. Also contains other stuff like Skip Engblom, Steve Caballero, Hell's Kitchen, Fracticide and Ivey's Vine (if anyone has info on this band, please let me know).

Split in two, but both parts aren't needed in order to unzip.

Get them here and here.

PS: P-motion uploaded volume 7, get it here!

What've Ya Brought me this time?

Good question. Here's a somewhat rare/obscure 7" compilation from 1988, featuring the Danish "super group" Misanthropic Charity (Bibbi and Michael from Electric Deads and Anderz from Enola Gay) and the legendary Norwegian hardcore group Barn av Regnbuen. Also included are More Fiends and Fellow Fashion Monkeys. Overall this compilation is pretty good, certainly, Barn av Regnbuen stands out as the fastest band on this compilation and interestingly Fellow Fashion Monkeys sounds a bit like Dead Kennedys, hmm. Misanthropic Charity's track comes off as a bit weak compared to the their full length from 1986.

I have two different versions of this, one with a white cover and one with a black cover, both bought on eBay for next to nothing. Both releases feature inserts with lyrics and band contact.

PS: I was going to rip and upload the Misanthropic Charity LP, but realized that someone else had already done it, so go here to get it, a live show can be found here and this 7" compilation can be bought here.

V.A. - Hold up Omnibus 8"

Super excellent, somewhat rare, treasure from Japan. The only 8" in my collection, features bands such as (pre-Baki) Gastunk, Clay, Ghoul and Systematic Death! The record was released in 1984 on Hold Up Records, all the tracks are recorded live.

Gary War - Anhedonic Man 7"

Bedroom-wave/lo-fi master piece from 2009. Single sided white label 7", limited and hand numbered to 300 copies according to discogs but my copy says #177/400.

SIC - Get Up and Do It

Classic Japanese hardcore. I bought this in Japan last year, a total bargain! There's not really that much to say other than this record rips, and should be downloaded while you're reading this.
8 track 7" released in 1989 on Dogma Records, go go go!

B-Movie - Remembrance Day

I realize it has been an awful long time since I last posted something here, so here's a fresh rip of an absolutely amazing 7".
B-Movie was a british new wave/synth-punk band from Nottinghamshire, formed in 1978 from the ashes of another band called The Aborted. The band's (new) name comes from an Andy Warhol painting. This 7" was released in 1981 and later re-release a couple of times, some years later. It features two songs, the powerful "Remembrance Day" and the hypnotizing "Institution Walls".

Check out their website  and buy their records since they are not that hard to come by.
